Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania · U.S. Steel Tower
Pittsburgh's First Rooftop
Adventure Destination
What We're Building
Top of the Triangle is Pittsburgh's first and only world-class rooftop adventure destination — perched atop the iconic U.S. Steel Tower, the tallest building in Western Pennsylvania at 841 feet.
We're transforming the Tower's legendary former rooftop helipad — once large enough to land three helicopters simultaneously — into a suite of unforgettable experiences for thrill-seekers, tourists, and proud Pittsburghers alike.
From a breathtaking 360° glass-walled observation deck to an I-beam walk that channels the city's steel heritage, Top of the Triangle is Pittsburgh's answer to the world's greatest urban adventure attractions.
Where Every Visit Begins
Every adventure at Top of the Triangle begins the same way — ascending to the roof of Pittsburgh's most iconic skyscraper and standing inside the original helicopter control tower, now transformed into a stunning glass-walled observation deck.
Your $30 general admission ticket unlocks the full experience: a tour through the Tower's inner workings, access to our ground-floor retail center, and your ascent to the rooftop where Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle unfolds 360° around you.
See It for Yourself
Premium Add-On Experiences
Each experience adds to your general admission visit. Combine them all for the full Top of the Triangle adventure.
Walk across the roof to a glass floor observation deck perched 841 feet above Pittsburgh's streets. Look straight down at the city below — if you dare.
Strap in and walk a steel I-beam spanning over 50 feet — suspended 841 feet in the air. Pittsburgh's steelworkers did it without a rope. Can you close the triangle?
Why look out the window when you can tilt 41.2 degrees over the street below? The highest tilting window attraction in the world — thrilling for the whole family.
Our Story
Jeremy Goldman grew up in Pittsburgh playing sports, skiing, rock climbing, and spending summers at overnight camp. His passion for the outdoors and adventure has never dimmed.
After a career representing major outdoor industry brands and consulting for summer camps on zipline and adventure course installations, Jeremy traveled the world with his wife Beth and daughter Hannah — ascending the Burj Khalifa, walking the CN Tower EdgeWalk, and climbing The O2 in London.
Those experiences crystallized a vision: Pittsburgh deserved a world-class rooftop adventure of its own. The U.S. Steel Tower — the city's most iconic skyscraper — was the only logical home for it.
